For centuries, wood has played a significant role in our daily lives. Today, wood is in ever growing demand. However, because many tropical rainforests have been subject to exploitation, growing global concerns of conserving and protecting natural forests is becoming a global trend. In view of this, it is ever more important to obtain forest products from a sustainable source.
Fenning Pacific practices sustainable forest management in timber harvesting from its forest concession; in accordance with the Fiji National Code of Logging Practice. Fenning Pacific’s forest concession ensures resource security and continuity in timber supply for its state-of-the-art sawmill and downstream processing facilities located in Waivunu and the city of Lautoka.
