OGL is a public-listed Company, listed on both the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and the CLOB International, Singapore. Previously the company had been mainly involved in timber processing. However since 2004, OGL saw a change in  shareholders who chartered a new direction for the Company and installed a fresh management team of Directors/Corporate personnel. The new shareholders and management team have now restructured the company so that it will focus on two areas: upstream forestry development i.e. the setting up of Tree Farms (Hardwood Timber Plantations) using the clonal propogation method Fiji, and secondly, educational developments in Australia. The two appear unrelated but they deal with intellectual resources and management of resources.

OGL provides a platform to bring together a team of scientists, educationists and corporate personnel to develop and manage knowledge technology and skills.
